Creative Exposure

During my time with United Way of Greater Portland, we initiated a program called The Pantry Project, designed to place shelves and transportation boxes in area businesses, so that employees could donate food products to help fill local food pantries. It's a good example of taking a need (more year-round exposure for United Way) and creating a solution (branded shelves in many businesses and organizations) that also helps the community.
